WordPress version: 3.5.1
WordPress SEO version: 1.3.4.4
I did this:
Enabled "strip category base" option in the WordPress SEO plugin. I've also set my custom permalink structure as "/blog/%category%/%postname%/" in Admin > Settings > Permalinks.
I expected the plugin to do this:
If I visit any category archive feeds such as "http://domain.com/blog/%category/feed/", the feed would show me posts within that category.
Instead it did this:
I receive an error 404 page. Both main posts and comments feeds are working fine and I can get the category archive feed working by manually inserting the category base back into the URL such as: "http://domain.com/blog/category/%category/feed/".
Out of curiosity, I disabled the "strip category base" option and tried the WP No Category Base plugin. The category archive feeds works however, the plugin strips "/blog/" out of the URLs instead :S
Am I doing anything wrong? :(
