I have in an interesting issue, the issue is as described below.
I have installed wordpress seo by yoast on my server now I want to set meta description for all my pages to do that I have logged in with admin panel and add description text for my few of page(let us say page name is 'testing'), I have explored database and seems it is saved properly on the page('testing') also when I open http://www.mysite.com/testing(client side) meta description is been added properly to the HTML, also when I list all the pages i.e. http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page all these meta descriptions are shown properly.
Now when I am going to edit this page(http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=postid&action=edit) or add new page and add meta description and update or publish the page meta description is not showing in the text area field where it should be shown.
I dont sure why this issue is there on the yoast plugin, any help on the same will be appreciated.
