Harriet44 on "[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] WordPress SEO plugin upload gets stuck when trying to update"

I am trying to update WordPress SEO plugin to 1.4.7 but the update gets stuck on -unpacking- and doesn't go any further. I have tried it on both Firefox and Safari on my Mac laptop, and I have also tried it by taking my Mac to different locations. What should I do. I don't want to lose all the settings on WordPress SEO.
