Make primary category not saving in classic mode

Hi!
I have a problem with saving primary category in classic mode on attachments. It works fine on posts and pages using Gutenberg, but on attachments, “Make primary” seems to work, but information isn’t saved.

Using WordPress 5.8.2 and Yoast SEO 17.7.1

It used to work, but not in the last few weeks, and I’m unsure if it’s a WP or Yoast upgrade that created the problem.
