Hi guys, a bit of an odd one here. We have an article whose Focus Keyword is ‘democracy and rule of law’, but when we save or publish the SEO Analysis says:

An error occurred in the ‘keywordDensity’ assessment
An error occurred in the ‘keyphraseDistribution’ assessment

And console in chrome says:

SyntaxError: Invalid regular expression: /Law’)/: Unmatched ')'
    at String.search (<anonymous>)
    at analysis-1771.js:355
    at analysis-1771.js:355
    at RegExp.[Symbol.replace] (<anonymous>)
    at String.replace (<anonymous>)
    at pa (analysis-1771.js:355)
    at analysis-1771.js:355
    at Array.forEach (<anonymous>)
    at ga (analysis-1771.js:355)
    at Object._a [as keywordCount] (analysis-1771.js:355)

By removing the word ‘Law’ from the Focus Keyphrase, or replacing it with something random, like ‘democracy and rule of cat’, everything works fine, add ‘law’ back in again and it throws up all the above errors.

What is it about the word ‘law’ in our keyphrase that could be causing this to happen during analysis?

We’re using all the latest versions of Yoast SEO Premium.

Thank
Matt
