harioms on "[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Forced URL rewrite to title of post"

Is there a way to turn off the URL rewrite for Yoast SEO? It seems to be forcing rewriting of the URLs to the title of the post?
It seems to be replacing the url title I choose to the tile of the post.
