I’ve disabled “Show tags in search results” in Yoast settings. Still, tags are being indexed by Google for the last few days.
I tested in Google Search Console URL Inspection tool. It says page allowed for indexing. For example, you can test the below URL in Rich Results Test.
https://www.insidetechno.com/tag/android/
Further, I tested in a couple more tools.
https://seositecheckup.com/seo-audit/noindex-tag-test
https://www.seoptimer.com/noindex-tags-checker/
All of these tools are showing that your page is not using the Noindex Tag. I double checked the setting in Yoast. Further, I enabled and disabled it again. But still tags are getting indexed.
Based on my GSC indexing report, tags started indexing on Sep 11. Please look into it.
