tamjohnston01 on "[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] image title showing in metadescription"

Forgive me if this is addressed elsewhere, I have spent a good couple of days scouring google and tutorials to no avail. I have completed metadescriptions in all my pages with the SEO plugin, and some are appearing correctly in google websearch. However others are not showing the meta description, they are showing a random snippet which includes the title and measurements of the image I have on that page. Obviously this is not going to entice people to click!
Is there something in the theme that I'm missing? I cannot find a solution so would really appreciate your help. (I also have SEO friendly images plugin activated).
