I had the same problem. Also not using one calender and no conflict with other plugins.
I solved the problem. Do you have problems with loading a summary at your wordpress dashboard? It keeps saying loading plugins..., wordpress blog..., other wordpress news?
I went to dashboard - updates and I installed wordpress 3.5 again. All problems were solved.
Maybe you can try this?
