no images on Facebook and Twitter after SSL

I recently added SSL to my site. Since that moment, there are no more images when sharing the post on Facebook or Twitter.
On Facebook Debugger I get the following ‘Warnings That Should Be Fixed’:
Object Missing a Required Value
Object at URL 'https://waternatuurlijkdodelta.nl/afvalwatersysteem-en-stadsdijken/' of type 'website' is invalid because a required property 'og:title' of type 'string' was not provided.
Inferred Property
The 'og:image' property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
I’ve been Googling around a bit, but that did not help me fixing this. I’m not even absolutely sure it’s a Yoast-related issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Meta Description on SERP Different from that on Yoast SEO

Hi,
Is it possible for Google to pull out meta description of a page from a part of its content other than what is placed on the Meta Description field on the Yoast SEO plugin?
One of our page’s SEO description on the SERP isn’t displaying the one on Yoast SEO. Instead it’s pulling text from Content Views Pro.
Would really appreciate it if anyone can give advice.

No index and no follow only for specific robots

Hi there,
I have recently started using Facebook Instant Articles. As my theme uses a lot a javascript that is not accepted by Facebook IAs and I only have a few articles that I want to be used by Instant Artciles, I have only allowed certain posts to be used. These are replicas of posts that are already published on the site with me striping the scripts that FIA won’t accept. To avoid duplication issues in my SEO I want to only allow the Facebook Meta Robot to follow and index these articles that are published soley for FIA. Is this possible to do via the Yoast SEO admin?

Incorrect Google indexing

I have a WordPress website and started using Yoast not long ago. For some of my pages I changed the snippet, but now Google is indexing my pages all jumbled up. The snippet I put in one page, now shows up with other pages, while Yoast tells me that’s not the snippet Google should show.

sitemap_index.xml can’t be found (not 404)

Hello,
Just need a bit of a help with the sitemap.
After enabling the sitemap option, it won’t generate the sitemap_index.xml
The re-write rule is in place.
It is not 404 error as well – just couldn’t find the sitemap_index.xml like how it can’t find an html or post.
Look forward to some advice!

Yoast Snippet Editor Won’t Delete Old Titles

Using the Yoast plugin and in a blog post I am trying to SEO, the Title in snippet editor is sticky and won’t allow me to add my preferred title….there is a previous drop-down list of old titles it wants to add….why is this plugin not working right? Any suggestions? Help…..thanks –

Canonical URLs for Multipage (NextPage) Articles

Hello,
WordPress SEO automatically makes canonical urls for each page of a multipage post. For example, if I have a three page post on URL:
http://myurl.com/article/
http://myurl.com/article/2/
http://myurl.com/article/3/
It spits out canonical=”http://myurl.com/article/2/” for the second page. Because of this, Google is forced to index each page separately, which is not good. I recognize that some people might want canonical urls on every page, but I have a suggestion – why not add an option in the settings to enable or disable this behavior?

Display wrong words in the Title

Hello!
I have wrong words in my title:
Example My Title XYZ…than:– displays the name of my City)
at the end of the sentence.
I have not given this word from my city however in the title, in the Meta box of Yoast. How can I remove this and see my special Tite at google?

The Answer of the Support Theme: We can not recommend you to add “title-tag” in functions.php, since Google needs some time (few days) to index your pages, and all changes.
So this problem already exists… after two weeks, please, can you tell me – How should I continue? How can I remove the City from my Title? Please help me to fix this problem.

Exclude Page or Post From Sitemap

Im trying to exclude a few pages out of my sitemap using Yoast SEO Pro version. All you do is copy the page ID’s in the box and hit save. When i do this, the page i wanted not to show up still shows up on my sitemap.
Anyway how to fix this or am i doing something wrong?

Slow social image upadte

I am trying to update the image and title that are shown when sharing my posts through social media. I have used the Facbook crawler: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ But it does not update the image show in Facebook and Twitter. I have tried to purge the site and server cache, but no luck. Any idea what is wrong?
I upload four pictures to four different places. 1 to the homepage and 3 to three different posts. Only the homepage image is updated. The text is updated on all. Its bee two days since I changed the pictures. Thanks.

Include category SEO data in export

Our site has nearly 250 categories. We have been diligent in writing SEO meta data for each via the Yoast SEO fields on the edit-tags.php screens.
We are in the process of exporting our site via WPcli, which produces the standard category data in the exported WXR file. The Yoast SEO meta data is not written to the WXR.
Is there a way to get the Yoast SEO meta data for categories to be included in the WXR?

XML Sitemap Hasn’t Updated in 3 Weeks

I just checked my YOAST XML sitemap and noticed that NO new posts have been added since 3/1/17. However, during that time period, I have published over 50 new posts. Thankfully, Google is still crawling and there are no issues with Robots TXT. ( I tested) I went through the suggested troubleshooting steps:
1) Uninstall All Plugins
2) Clear Cache
3) Switch Themes
4) Disable/Enable XML sitemaps
5) I even deactivated and uninstalled the plugin
However, for some reason the sitemap content WILL NOT update. As my site is on Google news I was forced to move the news portion of my sitemap to a different plugin to assure that it is indexed daily. Less than 10 minutes later 7 of my recent posts were indexed. This leads me to believe that it is a problem unique to SEO Yoast and not a general XML sitemap issue. Any thoughts on how to resolve. I noticed that a few others asked a similar question and they were not answered. Please do note that I followed all suggested troubleshooting steps.

Changing separator is not working

A while back I set the separator as something and it worked just fine.
Recently I have decided I would like to use the separator ‘|’ but it does not change on the website once I have changed and clicked save within Yoast SEO Plugin.
Any idea what would be causing the issue? I have spoke with my hosts and they have said no errors are generated on the server so I should contact the plugin devs.
