Yoast SEO: Search results appearing jumbled including several titles from pages

Initially my business appeared on google with a clear layout: Pioneer Property Consultants: Home, About Us, Services, Blog and Contact. After following a yoast youtube tutorial on how to further improve my ranking. The site now shows up on google jumbled and in the wrong order e.g. ‘All about us INTRODUCTION Pioneer Property Consultants are a leading modern property consultancy’.

Only ‘Home and About Us’ show in the main list when typing into google ‘Pioneer Property Consultants’. The other pages are nowhere near the top.

Yoast SEO doesn’t save meta description and key phrase in other languages

When I try to edit that page and add meta description in another language, for example, Spanish the changes are not save and meta description stays the same.

Good Day

Recently after migrating several of my websites to a new server I began getting this error on one site when trying to create a new post.

“The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

When i deactivate Yoast the issue goes away. I am on WP 5.2.3 and Yoast 12.1. I am on PHP 7.3 also.

Any ideas? (Not the permalinks as I have already re-saved this and the .htaccess file is correct and writable.

Hi,
Im retrieving ‘focus kw for products with code like this:

	$productID =  $post->id;
	$focuskw_val = get_post_field( '_yoast_wpseo_focuskw', $productID );
	$kw_sinonymus = get_post_field( '_yoast_wpseo_keywordsynonyms', $productID );

Is it possible and how to get focus keyword for current product category?

Missing field ‘id’

I have received an alert from Search Console to stating that I need to Fix Breadcrumbs markup. The error is being listed as Missing field ‘id’.

I know absolutely nothing about Bredcrumbing so now have no idea where to even begin with this. Having taken a look at the Breadcrumbs settings settings within Yoast on my clients website, I can see it’s currently been set to disabled.

Can anybody please advise on what this error is and what I need to do to address this. I have attempted to read a couple of articles but it’s a little to technical with me.

Google Search Console Sitemap can be read, but has errors

I’m getting this error in Google Search Console:
“Sitemap can be read, but has errors

We were unable to read your Sitemap. It may contain an entry we are unable to recognize. Please validate your Sitemap before resubmitting.
Examples
Line 1”

An xml sitemap validation tool gave me this error:
“Errors
Incorrect http header content-type: “text/html; charset=UTF-8” (expected: “application/xml”)”

How do I fix this issue?

Yoast is a very heavy plugin.

After I activated Yoast the panel became much slower. The plugin is loading very heavy scripts and many of these scripts are not needed on some pages. Yoast should only load its scripts in the custom posts / pages / post / categories / taxonomies and its own panel.

And even if I disable all options in: SEO -> General -> Features the following scripts are still loading:

wordpress-seo/js/dist/analysis-1210.min.js?ver=12.1
wordpress-seo/js/dist/components-1210.min.js?ver=12.1

I have several other active plugins (10) that together do not weigh like yoast.

Do something that the scripts load on pages that are actually used.

Yoast adds two og:image tags. Facebook doesn’t like it.

I had to remove Yoast from this site because it was inserting both an og:image and og:image:secure_url. Facebook was giving an “invalid image content type” error. I replaced the plugin with Rank Math and all is fine now. Too bad. I liked Yoast SEO. 🙁

Hi, there!
I use Yoast SEO to add the title and description for my pages, but I find information shows in google search is different from what Snippet Preview suggests me to write. I cannot see the entire sentence in google search. see the screenshots:

Yoast SEO conflicts with NextGen Gallery when inserted to category description

Hello

Yoast SEO free plugin conflicts with NextGen Gallery Pro Filmstrip gallery when inserted to Posts –> Categories –> Description field. By my tests it happens since the Yoast SEO version 7 until the latest 12.1. Tested with WordPress 4.9.11 and 5.2.3, different themes and all other plugins off. Gallery Pro version 2.6.18, base gallery version 3.2.18 (currently latest). The gallery just doesn’t load when Yoast SEO is active. Didn’t test with other types of gallery.

Hi,

Unfortunately, only 990 out of 1,500 listings are listed in the sitemap. I already using this code snippet but it always shows 990.

Conflict with Divi theme

Hi,
Elegant Themes suggested dropping a note here.

It seems that there is a conflict with the latest version of Divi and Yoast on checkout pages with the afterpay payment gateway plugin. When all 3 are activated a fatal error is triggered. When Yoast is disabled the checkout runs without a problem.

The stack trace only mentions Divi modules, but disabling Yoast solves the problem and Elegant Themes said it’s not at their end.

I’m currently disabling Yoast on all websites running Divi until the conflict is resolved as no checkouts is far worse than temporarily disabling the SEO plugin.

I’m happy to give login details for any testing if you need it

ID field missing

For a week now, I get error notices from the Google Search Console, stating that a couple of my pages are missing an id field. This number of pages is slowly growing.

I am getting the aforementioned error from Google Search Console for 200+ of my blog URLs.

The blog URLs have breadcrumbs set in the advanced settings of the plugin, but Google’s Structured Data testing Tool says they are missing – https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool#url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.wellborn.com%2Fblog%2F2013%2F11%2F11%2Fhouzz-call-modern-day-farmhouse%2F

Is there a delay between setting breadcrumbs and Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool being able to identify them?

Can anyone help?

401 errors are causing soft 404 warnings in google console

I am using the Yoast SEO: Search Index Purge to purge attachment URLs. The URLs are showing “the server responded with a status of 410 ()” yet I am getting “Submitted URL seems to be a Soft 404” from Google Search Console.

Do I need to do something else?

P.S. I would have asked at the Yoast SEO: Search Index Purge plugin, but no one has replied to questions there in many months.
