Hello, I use Yoast on more than 5 wordpress websites and have never had this problem:
With the current, new website, I cannot switch off the breadcrumps, the button to activate and deactivate is not available. Where is the problem?!

Hi, I’m trying to find orphaned content on my site, but the number of incoming links to each blog post is not displaying on my dashboard. I have already gone to SEO->Tools and clicked ‘count links in your texts’, and it says that all links have been counted. I have also looked in ‘screen options’ at the top of my Posts page, and there is no checkbox for incoming links. Outgoing internal links are counted fine, and displayed as a column on my Posts page. How can I make this number display please?

What could be the reason that I have only 1 image per blog in my sitemap? My blogs have a lot of images in them. I compared my sitemap to some other websites (That probably use Yoast aswell) and they have the correct number of images displayed in the sitemap. Awesome plugin by the way! Using it since day 1 of my website!

url label takes from page url. But its my main (home) page. And I dont want to have additional label.
Iwant it to be empty, just main domain and thats all.

Hi, we got this problem (after wpml update) with yoast seo indexing it runs this mysql query:
DELETE wyi FROM wp_yoast_indexable wyi INNER JOIN wp_yoast_indexable wyi2 WHERE wyi2.object_id = wyi.object_id AND wyi2.object_type = wyi.object_type AND wyi2.id < wyi.id
Takes one CPU core 100% and does not finish.
Also wp_yoast_indexable table has 231,752 rows for some reason?
What would be safe solution for that?

With Yoast activated on my site, Google PageSpeed Insights score was 22, with a suggestion to reduce the impact of third-party code, mostly facebook. I found 4 facebok references in the code. After deactivating Yoast, PageSpeed Insights score jumped to 54, with no suggestion about facebook code. The only two remaining facebook references in the code are now the fb icon (served from my site) and the link to my fb page.
I thought Yoast was supposed to help my site, but instead it dramatically hurt the page load time.

Is there any statistics I can derive from Pinterest and how does Pinterest Site Claim help with SEO or having a site being more searchable?
Where are the Graphs, Statistics, sitemap.xml file, URLs and so forth within Pinterest ?
I do not see any value with validating or Claim a website via Pinterest.com
There is no Dashboard, or Statistics I can look at within Pinterest Business account, like how they are displayed within “Google Webmaster”, “Google Analytics”, “Yandex Webmaster”, “Yandex Metrica”, “Bing Webmaster”, and so forth.
So how to utilize Pinterest Business account with SEO ?

I had changed the spelling of the word ‘traveler’ to ‘traveller’ in the title and the meta description of my post under the SEO and Social sections of the Yoast SEO settings. However, the Whatsapp preview still shows ‘traveler’ and I don’t see any option to edit the title/description of Whatsapp previews anywhere. From where can I edit the Whatsapp preview for my post?

I made yoast breadcrumb on my shop page.
It look’s like that:
Home–>shop–>category–>product
My home page is connect to shop page in my theme (my home page IS shop page).
I delete shop page from menu because of that – no need anymore – I have it on my home page.
But because of breadcrumb – search engine will “see it”. It will see the same contend on home page (www.home.com) and shop page (www.home.com/shop). It will treat it as duplicate? Home and shop will fight for position in search results?
There is no option to disable “shop” link from breadcrumb.
Add “no index” to shop page isn’t good idea for SEO – it will make “no index” link on many pages because of breadcrumb. It isn’t good?
Is my thinking is correct?

I want to use Yoast, but generate my own meta descriptions.
I’m currently using:
add_filter( ‘wpseo_metadesc’, ‘__return_false’ );
To stop Yoast from generating them. However, that leave me with an error comment in my HTML:
<!– Admin only notice: this page does not show a meta description because it does not have one, either write it for this page specifically or go into the [SEO – Search Appearance] menu and set up a template. –>
How do I either a) prevent this admin notice from appearing or b) is there a different filter I should be using to remove the meta descriptions?
I don’t want Yoast to generate the meta description OR these admin notices.

I plan my posts ahead. I noticed that when the posts get posted the modified date has the date I scheduled the post and the publishing date is the date the post was published. Yoast SEO outputs it like this:
<meta property="article:published_time" content="2020-07-03T04:45:04+00:00" />
<meta property="article:modified_time" content="2020-04-14T09:10:38+00:00" />I wonder if it has any SEO implications and wouldn’t it be better to include in the code: if modified date is before the publishing date print the publishing date?
